As much as Nephrite would like to claim the glory as his own, he could not have succeeded without the rest of the shitennou. These four heavenly kings were leaders of the Earth and guardians to Prince Endymion during the Silver Millennium and slaves to Queen Beryl in the present time.
Kunzite
Kunzite is the leader of the shitennou and the highest in command of the Earth kingdoms. He oversees the Middle Eastern division. Of the four kings Kunzite is the most stoic and determined. His title as leader is well deserved. In the manga, he is most in tune with his past life serving Prince Endymion, and his narration sheds light on the nature of the Moon Kingdom's fall. In the anime, Kunzite is romantically involved with Zoisite, though this connection is not true in the manga. He is thought to have shared a romance with Sailorvenus during the Silver Millennium.
Zoisite
Zoisite is the third highest in command and directs the European division of Earth. The manga and anime portray him quite differently. In the anime, Zoisite is very effeminate, and he is romantically involved with Kunzite, though this connection does not exist in the manga. He stands apart from the other shitennou with exception to Kunzite, with whom he schemes. He is thought to have shared a romance with Sailormercury during the Silver Millennium.
Jadeite
Jadeite is the youngest and most hot-headed of the four kings. He is the fourth in command and oversees the Far East division. Of the four kings, Jadeite is portrayed the most consistantly between the anime and the manga. He is ambitious and strong-willed. He relies on youma for most of his schemes and prefers to work without the help of his allies. He is thought to have shared a romance with Sailormars during the Silver Millennium.
