Partners in Battle
Sailorjupiter is indeed a powerful fighter, but she could not have done it alone. She is one of many skilled warriors who fights to protect the glory of the future moon. She is one of Serenity's four closest guardians, an ally of soldiers of the borders, and a personal friend of the royal family. Here are her partners:

Tsukino Usagi/Sailormoon
She is the leader and princess of the moon and all the planetary kingdoms. She is the very reason the senshi must fight to keep the future moon safe. Usagi is one who at first glance does not seem to fit her destiny well. She is clumsy and scatter-brained and a bit of a crybaby, but she also possesses the purest of hearts. She likes eating and ready manga, and she hates studying. As the series pushes forward she grows and matures, and by the time she must take the throne of the New Moon Kingdom she is ready. She is destined to Mamoru, the prince of the Earth as well as Tuxedo Kamen. The two were lovers during the Silver Millennium, allies in the present time, and leaders of the future Crystal Tokyo.

Mizuno Ami/Sailormercury
Mizuno Ami is the beautiful protector of the planet Mercury. She wields water and ice. She was the second senshi to surface shortly after Sailormoon. Although not as aggressive as the other senshi, she is the strongest soldier in defensive fighting. Ami is also very strong intellectually. She holds the highest test scores year after year and is even rumored to have an IQ of 300! Ami is quite shy and reserved. She has a skill for swimming and delights in reading (as long as no love letters are involved). She is also princess of Mariner Castle on Mercury and is thought to have shared a romance with Zoisite during the Silver Millennium.

Hino Rei/Sailormars
Sailormars, the third senshi to surface, is keeper of the Martian flames. Her blows involve fire and are quick and very accurate. She is a very talented senshi and it clearly shows in battle. Rei is sought after for her gift of prophecy and foresight. She works at her grandfather's shrine where she hopes to become a priestess. Rei can come off as arrogant and cold at first, but in truth she is extremely loyal and guards her heart well. She is gifted in archery and has no desire for a boyfriend (unlike the other senshi). She is also princess of Phobosdeimos Castle on Mars and is thought to have shared a romance with Jadeite during the Silver Millennium.

Aino Minako/Sailorvenus
Sailorvenus is a very strong and experienced senshi. Her wit is keen and her strikes skillful due to her time fighting crime as SailorV and the guidance of her white cat Artemis. It was at first believed that Minako was the moon princess, but this was a misinterpretation of her true role: leader of Serenity's guard. It is often noted that Minako could be Usagi's twin, and this observation is not far from the truth. Minako spends much of her time reading manga and chasing idols. She plays volleyball and sings. She is also princess of Magellan Castle on Venus and is thought to have shared a romance with Kunzite during the Silver Millennium.

Makoto's Role in the Sailor Team
Sailorjupiter is a vital part of the senshi team. Powers aside, she is the strongest senshi in terms of physical strength. Her physical strength aids greatly in the early seasons when the girls are not yet accustomed to fighting and are often confused as to how to proceed with a villain (episode 25 of the anime is a great example of this). She and Sailorvenus work together beautifully in the anime (unless, of course, a cute boy is involved). Sailorjupiter is also very perceptive, although this is more evident in the manga than in the anime. Makoto also acts as a mediator and counselor to the other girls. The others come to her with problems in love, and Makoto is always ready to listen.
